M.C.I.'s resource centre exists to support students and staff. It is a place where they can access, evaluate and implement a variety of resources as a way to fulfill the requirements of the curriculum. As teacher-librarians it is our aim to teach students the research skills needed for the successful acquisition, evaluation and implementation of resources. It is also our aim to encourage literacy through the love of reading.
Our website exists as an electronic brochure describing our resources and special events, as a showcase displaying student work, and as a "library without walls" where the school community can access the library catalogue, book lists, bibliographic guides, new resources, and useful web links.
